Privacy Policy

This policy covers the PgMP iPhone and iPad app. The web app has its own account and privacy policy.

Your study data

Practice progress, bookmarks, mistakes and preferences are stored on your device. They are not synchronized with a web account. You can remove local study data in Settings. Device backups may retain data according to your Apple backup settings.

Optional AI Tutor

Before your first AI request, we ask permission to send the current question, selected answers, your message and recent conversation to our AI service. When a prepared response is not available, that content is sent to Google Gemini to generate an answer. Do not include confidential or personal information in your messages. You can withdraw permission in Settings; the app will ask again before another AI request. Ordinary practice does not require AI permission.

Our service temporarily stores AI responses and request metadata to apply usage limits and safely handle retries. These records are normally removed within three days. Chat history is held in the open conversation on your device and included with follow-up requests; it is not a permanent chat archive. Operational backups can outlast deletion from the active database.

App and purchase verification

Apple-signed app and subscription information and device verification proofs are sent to our service to verify access and prevent abuse. We retain a pseudonymous app identity and device verification key for this purpose. We do not receive your Apple account password or payment card details. Network providers also process connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure requests.

Service providers

Apple handles purchases and app verification. Cloudflare hosts our AI service. Google processes content sent to Gemini under its applicable API terms and privacy policies; provider retention may differ from our three-day active request retention. These providers may process data outside your country. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising tracking.

Subscriptions and refunds

iOS subscriptions are billed by Apple. Manage or cancel them in your Apple subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable rules through Report a Problem. Canceling renewal does not itself issue a refund. Access is updated when Apple reports expiry or revocation.

Your choices and contact

You can stop using AI, revoke AI permission, or clear local study data in Settings. Contact support@pgmp.app about privacy, access or deletion requests. We may need information to locate and verify the relevant pseudonymous records; do not send Apple passwords, payment details or private keys. We may retain information where required for security or law.
